Dear friend, whether you’re seeking answers to life’s deepest questions, longing for a community that feels like family, or simply curious about what makes Bethel Evangelical Church of Michigan different, we want you to know that you are welcome here. As the psalmist declared, “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8), we invite you to experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ in our midst.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, ESV)

Perhaps you’re carrying burdens that seem too heavy to bear alone. Maybe you’re searching for meaning in a world that often feels empty and confusing. Or perhaps you’re a believer looking for a church family where you can grow deeper in your faith. Whatever brings you here today, know that God has led you to this place for a purpose.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11, ESV)

At Bethel, we believe that every person is created in the image of God and is deeply loved by Him. We’ve experienced firsthand how Jesus Christ can transform broken lives, heal wounded hearts, and give purpose to those who feel lost. Our church family is made up of people from all walks of life—immigrants, students, families, singles, young and old—united by our shared faith in Jesus Christ.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28, ESV)

We understand what it means to be far from home, to navigate cultural differences, and to seek God’s guidance in unfamiliar territory. Many of us have walked that path, and we’ve found that in Christ, we discover not just a faith to believe in, but a family to belong to. As Jesus promised, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you” (John 14:18).

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12, ESV)

Our prayer is that as you explore our website, you’ll catch a glimpse of the love, joy, and hope that fills our church. We’re not perfect people—we’re forgiven people, learning to walk in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ each day. Whether you’re taking your first steps toward faith or you’re a mature believer looking for a new church home, we want to walk alongside you in your spiritual journey.

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV)

So come, dear friend. Come as you are, with your questions, your doubts, your hopes, and your dreams. Come and discover what it means to be part of a community that loves God with all its heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loves its neighbors as itself. Come and see what the Lord has done—and what He wants to do in your life.

“Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.” (Psalm 66:5, ESV)
