At Bethel Evangelical Church of Michigan, we stand firmly on the foundation that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV). Equipping the Saints: Our Biblical Mandate

God has given us a clear mandate through the apostle Paul: “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-12, ESV). Expository Preaching: Unveiling God’s Truth

Our Sunday preaching follows the model of Ezra, who “read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading” (Nehemiah 8:8, ESV). We believe in expository preaching that takes the text seriously, explains it clearly, and applies it practically to our daily lives and evangelistic efforts.
